Wild Forest Tournament Grant Program (Pilot Edition)

Wild Forest Tournament Grant Program (Pilot Edition)

We’re excited to launch the Wild Forest Tournament Grants — a pilot program designed to support community-led tournaments. Whether you’re a guild, a Web3 content creator, or just a passionate community, you can apply to receive rewards and support to organize your own Wild Forest competition.

🧩 Why This Program?

This initiative is part of our mission to empower the community and grow Wild Forest into an esports discipline.

You don’t need to be a large esports organizer — we’re looking for motivated and creative partners who want to bring Wild Forest to their communities and co-create fun, engaging events that everyone can enjoy.

📅 Timeline

  • July 16 – August 7: Application phase
  • August 7 – September 7: Tournaments execution

💰 Total Budget: ~$5,000

Includes: $2,000 in USDT + 1,000,000 $WF tokens

🧮 Budget Distribution

  • The major part of the budget should be allocated to rewarding top players and running a raffle for all participants.
  • Up to 5% of the budget can be used for tournament management and organizational costs.
  • Maximum grant per tournament:150 USDT + 100,000 $WF (~$450 total cap)*
  • Each organizer can apply for up to 3 tournaments
⚠️ Please note: this is the maximum amount available for the prize pool of one tournament. The approved pool for each event may vary depending on the size of your community and the level of support and visibility for the tournament.

📝 Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, your community should:

  • Have at least 100 members
  • Be active on platforms like Twitter, Discord, YouTube, or Twitch
  • Exist for 6 months or more
⚠️ Important: Before hosting a tournament, the organizer must receive confirmation from the Wild Forest team. Meeting all criteria does not guarantee approval — Wild Forest reserves the right to decline any application without explanation.

✅ What Are the Requirements?

To receive the grant, your tournament should:

  1. Be open to the public – not limited to your own community
  2. Be published on Community Gaming (you can manage players elsewhere, but CG listing is mandatory)
  3. Be announced at least 4 days before the start date
  4. The description must include:
    • Format & rules
    • Deck composition/restrictions
    • Prize pool and distribution
  5. Date, time, and registration method
👉 You can check our example here
  1. Stream the final rounds publicly – YouTube, Twitch, or Twitter only (private Discord streams do not qualify)
  2. Recommended format: Double Elimination, with Bo3/Bo5 finals
  3. The tournament must have official rules (you may adapt our tournament rules template)
  4. After the tournament, the organizer must share all Ronin wallet addresses of participants with the Wild Forest team
⚠️ If the tournament fails to meet any of the above criteria or if fraud is detected, the grant may be withheld, and future applications may be rejected.

🎁 The reward pool will be distributed only after the tournament takes place, and rewards will be sent directly to winners (excluding the portion allocated for organizational costs).

📣 What We Expect From Organizers

  • Actively promote your tournament using all available social media (announcements, rules, updates, etc.)
👉Wild Forest will support with amplification via its channels.
  • Ensure fair and transparent tournament management — all players must be treated equally.
  • Focus on delivering quality production — brackets, visuals, livestreams, interviews
Important: Poor production may affect eligibility for future grants.
