Important Update on Fragments

After considering your feedback, we’re making changes to Fragment availability!
Fragments will now be exclusively available to Lord NFT stakers, giving them early access to new Units ahead of the community.

Players without Lords will keep their existing Fragments and will be able to exchange them for the new Unit in the future. However, moving forward, only Lord NFT stakers will be able to mint new Fragments.

New Fragment distribution rules for Lords:

• Fragments will now be given only to Lord stakers, based on their rarity (ex: 1 for Rare, 2 for Epic and so on).
• They will be distributed once per week instead of daily (7x fewer Fragments overall).

This is our first step toward bringing more value to Lord holders and improving the in-game economy.

We’re excited to introduce a brand new feature, Unit Fragments! Collect fragments, and mint a Unit with! 👀

Why Unit Fragments? 👀

As we prepare to release a new Unit, we’ve been thinking about the best way to introduce it to the game. Since the new Unit will have no initial supply, it would take too long to accumulate enough Units from the rewards, making it non-usable as those will be too weak.

To solve this, we’re launching Unit Fragments, which can be redeemed for new Units to increase initial supply and reward our active players! 🙏

How Unit Fragments Work 🛠️

• You can collect 1 Fragment per day via a free mint (you only need to cover the transaction fee), here 🔗 https://playwildforest.io/fragments.
• Once you collect 20 Fragments, you can redeem them into an in-game Unit! Note: Minting this Unit to NFT will require a transaction fee and a small amount of $WF.
• Fragments are universal, they work for any new Unit. This means you can save Fragments for future Unit releases if you’d like.
• Fragments are personal and fragile. If they are transferred or sold, they will break and become unusable. This will prevent botting and unfair extraction.

🐺 Bonus for Lord Stakers:

They have the chance to mint daily extra Fragments to increase their potential for acquiring new Units faster!

• 🔵 Rare: +1 extra Fragment.
• 🟣 Epic: +2 extra Fragments.
• 🟡 Legendary: +4 extra Fragments.
• 💎 Mystic: +8 extra Fragments.

The Unit Redeem Event 🕒

• The new Unit will be available to redeem during a limited-time event which will happen later this year. 
• You can claim and mint as many Units as you have enough Fragments for.
• If all goes well, we plan to use this mechanism for future Unit releases!
