🌲 Wild Forest 2025: Year in Review

2025 was a challenging year, marked by both highs and lows.

Despite difficult market conditions, it became a year of real growth for Wild Forest — focused on systemic improvements, economic stabilization, and building a solid foundation for long-term sustainability and future player base expansion.

🚀 Performance & Business Milestones

• 📉Despite a challenging market environment and a significant token decline at the beginning of the year, $WF recovered over time and grew by more than 350%, maintaining its position despite continued volatility in the Ronin ecosystem. This recovery showed that player activity, in-game demand, and core systems remained strong even under external pressure.
• 🏆 Wild Forest NFT collections showed up in the Top charts on Ronin Market, maintaining strong trading activity the entire year. This confirmed long-term interest in the game’s assets and strong support from collectors and players.
• 🌍  A major milestone was the release of Wild Forest on the Epic Games Store, opening the game to a much broader audience beyond the traditional Web3 ecosystem. This step strengthened Wild Forest’s position as a strategy game first, and helped bring new players into the ecosystem 🎮.

🤑 Web3 Achievements

In 2025, we completed a full economic rebalance, reaching a state where the game economy can realistically operate in the long term.

📊 Key results of the year:

• 💸 27M $WF spent in-game by players — more than 2× compared to the previous year. This growth showed deeper engagement and stronger demand for in-game systems.
• 🔄 3.2M $WF distributed via the Token Share Program (11.5%), returning value directly to active players and contributors.
• 🎁 21.6M $WF earned by players through in-game rewards, keeping gameplay rewarding while maintaining balance.
• 🧩 ⬆️ 322K Units ranked up, 🔥 216K Units burned, 123K Units minted. These numbers reflect a healthy unit lifecycle and active progression across the player base.

To further support economic stability, we started burning tokens spent by players throughout the year:

• 🔥 15M $WF already burned
• ⏳ 8.5M $WF scheduled for burning in the near future

This helps reduce supply pressure and strengthens the deflationary model.

👑 The Lords collection maintained its position as one of the most valuable collections on Ronin Market, with an average floor price above 3,000 RON.

In 2025, we further strengthened the collection by introducing several key updates, including reducing the supply to 3,333 Lords and redirecting 30% of the Wild Token Pool to Lords holders. These updates increased long-term value and made Lords a stronger core asset in the ecosystem.

🎮 Game Highlights

Throughout the year, the team consistently delivered new features and content:

• 🧟‍♂️ Survival Mode was the biggest gameplay release of 2025. It introduced a new PvE experience, extended play sessions, and enabled onboarding of a much broader audience.
• ⚔️ Private PvP Battles launched, unlocking new tournament formats and laying the groundwork for future esports initiatives.
• 🎟 Wild Pass launched as a simple gateway to token earning and premium progression, supporting long-term game sustainability while remaining easy for players to understand and helping protect the economy from harmful extraction.
• 🆕 5 new units were released, expanding the roster from 25 to 30 units. Each unit — Inker, Drumkeeper, Painmancer, Fugumaru, and Mistress — brought new abilities and more strategy to the game.
• 🌿 5 new maps inspired by Japanese and Jungle themes were added, making gameplay more varied and enjoyable.
• 🧠The Perk system was fully reworked, with new perks added to give players more control and flexibility in building their strategies.
• 🧭 The onboarding experience was significantly improved — from login flow to Novice Bounty Board, Trophy Road, and Battle Pass redesigns. This made it easier for new players to start, while keeping depth for experienced ones.
• 🛠 Numerous additional improvements and quality-of-life updates shipped throughout the year, making the game smoother and more comfortable to play.
