For a long time, one of the biggest challenges for new players in competitive PvP was simple: getting access to strong Units and viable builds before being able to truly compete.

Today, we’re changing that.

Introducing Arena - a brand new feature designed to remove entry barriers and let every player experience the core competitive gameplay of Wild Forest from day one. 🌲

🛡️ What Is Arena?

Arena introduces a completely separate competitive environment built around the new Arena Deck system.

With Arena Decks, players can assemble teams using any Units in the game, with any rarity, ranks, levels, and Perks they want.

✅ No NFT ownership required
✅ Pure strategy and skill

This creates a new way to experience Wild Forest PvP - one where creativity, experimentation, and gameplay mastery matter most.

🎴 Build Any Deck You Want

Inside Arena mode, players can freely switch between their Primary Deck and Arena Deck at any time.

When editing an Arena Deck, all Units in the game become available. Players can:

• ⚔️ Choose any Unit
• ⭐ Select its rank
• 📈 Adjust levels

• 🧩 Customize Perks
• 🧪 Test different combinations instantly

Want to experiment with a full Legendary build?
Try anti-air compositions?
Theorycraft crazy synergy combos?

And because Arena is fully customisable, every player gets immediate access to high-level gameplay and strategic depth.

🤝 A New Home for Practice, Training & Community Events

Arena Decks can be used in Private Battles, opening the door for a lot of new possibilities:

• 🧠 Practice with friends
• 🔬 Test new strategies and builds
• 🎓 Train scholars
• 📚 Host coaching sessions
• 🏆 Organize community tournaments
• ⚔️ Run internal guild competitions

Most importantly, tournaments no longer require upfront investment from participants.

This means anyone can jump in and compete - even brand new players.

Over the coming weeks, we plan to actively use Arena for community championships and experimental competitive formats.

One of the ideas we’re especially excited about is Guild Wars between communities. 🏰🔥

🏅 Arena PvP & Leaderboard

Arena also comes with its own dedicated PvP queue and isolated leaderboard system.

Players using Arena Decks will be matched against each other through an ELO-based rating system. Wins and losses will affect Arena Rating, which will also power matchmaking.

At the end of each season, the top Arena players will stand out as the best competitors in the mode. 👑

Since Arena removes progression barriers entirely, maintaining competitive integrity is especially important. To reduce abuse risks, Arena won’t focus on direct farming rewards.

Instead, top seasonal Arena players will qualify for special tournaments with significant rewards.

The goal is simple:
⚡ Create a truly skill-based competitive path where anyone can rise to the top through gameplay alone.

🔄 Seasonal Arena Variations

Arena also gives us a powerful tool for creating fresh seasonal metas.

In future seasons, we may rotate available Units, ranks, or Perks to keep the mode dynamic and interesting.

For example:

• Epic-rank-only seasons
• No flying Units
• Limited Perk pools
• Special themed metas

This flexibility allows Arena to constantly evolve and creates entirely new competitive environments over time.

Arena is more than just another game mode.

It’s a major step toward making Wild Forest more accessible, social, and competitive at the same time.

PvP has always been the strongest part of Wild Forest gameplay - and now everyone gets equal access to it from the very beginning.

We expect Arena to become:

• A smoother onboarding path for new players
• A stronger foundation for community tournaments
• A space for experimentation and learning
• A more active and populated PvP environment

And eventually, players who enter through Arena can naturally progress into the broader Wild Forest ecosystem and other game modes.
