As we look ahead to 2025, our primary goal is to grow Wild Forest into one of the leading Web3 games. Achieving this requires a comprehensive plan combining an extensive marketing campaign with critical balance updates, fixes to existing issues, and introducing new game modes and features designed to attract and engage a wider player base.

This blog post outlines the key features and updates we prioritize for the coming months. Each feature is presented in order of priority, along with the vision behind it, so you can understand how each element contributes to the overall growth and sustainability of Wild Forest.


Features Priorities ๐ŸŽฏ

Hereโ€™s a list of the key features weโ€™re currently working on and what theyโ€™ll bring to the game:1. Leaderboard fixes and rebalances

  • We all know it needs fixes, which should bring more players to the competition.
  • Additionally, we will transition from Trophy Packs to direct $WF rewards.
  • The new leaderboard will reward only the top division with the $WF rewards while providing resources to improve your decks in lower divisions.
  • We will publish the explicit list of updates separately.

2. Inker Unit Release + Unit Fragments Redeem

  • The new Unit creates an extra counter against flying Units, providing more game strategies.
  • Unit Fragments redemption opens up a source of initial supply for the newly released units, rewarding active players and Lord holders with a surplus of Inkers and other Units in the future.

3. Unit Mint Fee

  • Opens minting to any player.
  • Provides $WF token utility required to mint Units.
  • Helps organically limit the supply of Units.
  • Creates a barrier for bots and extractors โ€” theyโ€™ll need to become part of the ecosystem.

4. Expeditions

  • Add new casual gameplay and provide more utility for Units.
  • Create more things to do in the game for a wider audience.

5. Perk Re-Roll

  • Provides an extra $WF token utility.
  • Creates a more simple mechanism to build the desired deck.

6. Lords Staking Multiplier for Deposits

  • Provides extra benefits for Lords holders to reward their loyalty and engagement in the ecosystem.

7. Elixirs, ingredients, and crafting

  • Introduces a new consumable item to the game, creating a new layer of strategy and increasing asset turnover in the ecosystem.
  • Create a new activity and item that players can craft and trade to involve more players.

8. Game Engine Update

  • Reduce lags and issues in battles.
  • Provide more stability for the game and improve the user experience.

9. Trophy Road rework

  • Improves player progression and provides cleaner content unlock and incentives.

10. Battle Pass rework and rebalance

  • Fixes incentives for non-competitive players and makes progression more engaging and effective.
  • Provides better balance to the ecosystem.

11. Private Battles and Tournaments support

  • This will open a wide range of activities and community engagement. It will open the game for e-sports and provide tools for local tournaments to help us onboard more players.
  • Additionally, it will help you challenge your friends in private battles and test your strategies and skills.

12. Arcade Mode rework to test Decks

  • Provides a training environment to test Units, Perks, skills, and strategies.
  • Players can assemble any Deck and use it in private battles to train and teach.

13. Rating competition in Arcade mode

  • Provides a competitive environment for pure skills competition for Free-to-Play.
  • Creates an extra in-game activity.
  • In the future, this rating can be used to select players for the Tournaments and provide better visibility when onboarding the Scholars.

14. Direct Ronin Wallet Login

  • Simplifies the login process.
  • Helps onboard the new players by creating a smoother user experience.

15. Units Rent

  • The first iteration simplifies Scholarship management.
  • In the future, we plan to extend this feature and introduce a market where players can rent their Units earning $WF.

16. PvE game mode

  • Creates an accessible game mode for more casual gameplay. We expect this to bring more players who are not as interested in competitive PvP.
  • Provides a new, fun experience for the existing players.
  • We are considering various game scenarios, including co-op multiplayer raids and survivals.

17. Lord Rent

  • Provides an opportunity for Lord holders to earn $WF while transferring the benefits of owning the Lord to a wider range of players for the Lords they donโ€™t use themselves.
  • As we grow the game and extend the utility, Lords will become more in demand.

18. Skin NFT Utility

  • We want to create more utilitarian features for the Skins to promote a healthy distribution and additional demand.

19. DAO Voting system

  • We want to introduce a mechanism for communication and involve the community in the fair decision-making process to take direct action in our future path.
