Wild Forest: October–December 2025 Recap

From October to December 2025, Wild Forest launched Survival Mode, added new systems and a new unit, refined PvP and progression, and kept the economy deflationary. Here’s a quick recap of the key updates from the past few months. 🌲

Wild Forest: October–December 2025 Recap

The last few months have been a big chapter for Wild Forest.

From October to December, we shipped major gameplay updates, launched new systems and monetization layers, tested fresh ideas, and continued building a strong and sustainable game — even in a tough market.

Let’s look back at what happened. 👇

🎮 Survival Mode Is Live — and Growing

One of the biggest updates of this period was the launch of Survival Mode (PvE).

Survival Mode is a single-player, wave-based experience where you defend your base, upgrade your deck, and see how long you can survive. It was designed to provide a fun yet less intrusive solo experience. As a result, it became a great place for players looking for calm play and a much smoother onboarding for the new players.

After launch, Survival Mode quickly became one of the most played modes in the game and showed a strong impact on daily activity and retention.

Since release, we’ve already rolled out several major improvements:

  • launched a second premium map,
  • improved difficulty scaling in long runs,
  • added enemy randomization for more fun and unpredictability,
  • balanced unfair difficulty spikes in every wave.

Survival Mode is still in an active tuning phase, and we’ll keep improving it step by step.

🛡️ Survival Mode: Open Testing Begins
Wild Forest launches Survival Mode (PvE) in open testing — a new single-player challenge with waves of enemies, bosses, and rewards. Four difficulty levels, daily energy limits, and loot box progression await those ready to test their endurance in the Forest. 🌲⚔️

💰 A Deflationary Economy — Even Under Expansion

Despite introducing new reward sources with Survival Mode, Wild Forest’s economy stayed deflationary during this period.

Over these months:

  • players spent around 10M $WF in-game,
  • 6.6M $WF were distributed as rewards,
  • overall, more $WF was spent than earned — even after premium Survival Mode rewards went live.
This tells us one important thing:
When gameplay and progression feel meaningful, players are happy to reinvest in their decks and accounts

We also introduced an additional mechanism to reduce short-term speculation and support long-term stability. Tokens can be withdrawn 72 hours after the deposit is made. This keeps flexibility for players while discouraging impulsive, short-term extraction behavior.

New Monetization Systems for Long-Term Sustainability

During this period, we introduced new monetization systems designed to support Wild Forest in the long run — without hurting gameplay or fairness.

🎟 Wild Pass

The Wild Pass is a gateway to earning $WF in Wild Forest, it limits access to token rewards in a clear and controlled way.

With Wild Pass, players get access to:

  • Premium Survival Mode maps, where $WF can be earned,
  • Ranked Mode, including leaderboard with $WF rewards.

This system helps protect the economy from uncontrolled extraction we faced in the early daysby limiting token rewards only to players who are actively engaged and invest into the ecosystem. This mechanism supports the overall stability and sustainability of Wild Forest.

We continue adjusting the price and value of the Wild Pass to keep the balance healthy and the player experience fair.

🗺 Treasure Hunt

Treasure Hunt brings a new way to introduce Units into Wild Forest and generate the initial supply. The majority of this initial supply is distributed to the Lord stakes and active players.

Each pack offered:

  • early access to new units,
  • in-game resources,
  • a chance to get rare grand rewards.
Treasure Hunt was an important event to try a new mechanic, understand its potential, and gather valuable insights — so we can make future Treasure Hunt events better and more impactful.

We see strong potential, and with more positive sentiment on the market, we expect this mechanism to outperform.

Treasure Hunt: Unlock New Unit Power in Wild Forest
Get the new Mistress unit through the Treasure Hunt — with a guaranteed drop and a chance to open rare Grand Treasures like Lords NFTs, $WF prizes, and gold rewards.

🧙 New Unit: Mistress

During this period, we introduced a new unit — Mistress.

Mistress adds new tactical options to deckbuilding. As with all new units, her performance is being closely monitored, and balance adjustments will be made if needed.

The unit was first introduced through Treasure Hunt and will become available in the game 4 weeks after, through Unit Chests in Battle Pass and other rewards for players in League 10.

🔥 Meet the New Unit: Mistress
Mistress is a melee control unit built to disrupt enemy formations and eliminate key backline targets. Her power comes not from raw damage, but from pulling crucial enemies out of position and creating chaos on the battlefield. 📌 Key Facts * Tier 2 unit * Ground, melee, medium durability & damage * Pull range: 25

⚔ Ranked, Balance & Competitive Updates

Alongside PvE expansion, we continued improving competitive play, progression systems, and overall usability:

  • Ranked Leaderboards switched to a new multi-tour weekly structure to reduce camping and increase activity
  • We made several tests with adjusting Deck power requirements to make Ranked more accessible
  • Several balance patches fixed overperforming units and perks
  • New battlefield maps were added to existing biomes

Our goal here is simple: fair competition, fewer exploits, and more room for different playstyles.

We realize that Leaderboard works best with enough players, so our primary focus was to create gameplay that would attract more players. Survival mode was a major step towards this direction.

🧭 Progression, UI & Quality of Life

We also shipped multiple updates to make the game smoother and more comfortable to play every day:

  • main screen and portal UI updates for cleaner navigation,
  • improved readability and fixes for device-specific issues,
  • updates to Battle Pass and Premium Battle Pass tasks and rewards,
  • boosted Signal Fire rewards.

We’re always working to make the game better from all sides, and your feedback plays a significant role in these improvements.

🛡 Account Safety & Scholarships

We introduced Account Safe Mode — a long-requested feature that empowers scholarship management and provides asset protection.

With Safe Mode enabled, scholars can only access gameplay and grind, but can’t damage assets, upgrade units, or spend tokens.

This is the first step toward smoother and safer scholarship management.
Introducing 🛡️ Account Safe Mode
Account Safe Mode lets you safely give scholars access to your account by blocking any actions that spend resources or change units.

🎥 Creators & Community

Community activity stayed strong during this period:

  • a new Creator Season went live with rewards and leaderboards,
  • livestream incentives and content rewards expanded,
  • feedback from Discord directly shaped balance and economy changes.

Wild Forest keeps growing because all of you stay involved — and we value that.

During this time, Wild Forest was recognized as Best Mobile Game 2025 by PlayToEarn. This is not only a fantastic achievement but also an excellent validation of our vision.

🔮 What’s Next

Looking ahead, our focus stays clear:

  • attract more players to the Wild Forest ecosystem
  • more Survival Mode improvements,
  • continued improvements to the competitive PvP experience,
  • ongoing balance tuning,
  • fair and optional monetization.

We’ll keep testing, listening, and improving together.

The Forest keeps growing — and the next chapters are already on the way.

See you in the Forest 🌿🌲
